Global Chess League: Winners and Past Seasons (2023, 2024 and 2025)

Every champion of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League, the score of every final, the MVPs and the facts that decided each season, plus the state of the 2026 final.

Three seasons of the Global Chess League have been completed. Triveni Continental Kings won the first two, in Dubai in 2023 and in London in 2024, and Alpine SG Pipers won the third in Mumbai in 2025. The winner of the round robin has gone on to win the final only once, in 2023: PBG Alaskan Knights topped the 2024 table and lost the final, and Triveni topped the 2025 table and lost the final.

The finals are played as the best of two rapid matches. The 2023 final needed two blitz matches and a sudden-death round; the 2024 and 2025 finals were both won 2-0. The awards have changed names: in 2023 the league named a King and a Queen of the series, in 2024 a Season MVP and a Player of the Match in the final, in 2025 a Male and a Female Player of the Tournament and an MVP of the final.
