1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Zapp Chess ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DAB Games Pvt. Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Zapp Chess is a mobile chess gaming application that offers a unique format where players compete within a 3-minute time limit, with victory achieved by gaining a 2-point material advantage over the opponent.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use cheating software, bots, or any unauthorized third-party tools
• Manipulate game outcomes or exploit bugs
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Engage in any activity that disrupts the service
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of DAB Games Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Game Rules

The official Zapp Chess game rules are as follows:

• Each player has 3 minutes on their game clock
• Victory is achieved by gaining a 2-point material advantage
• Standard chess piece values apply: Pawn=1, Knight=3, Bishop=3, Rook=5, Queen=9
• If a player's time runs out, that player loses the game
• Standard chess rules apply for piece movement

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Zapp Chess offers optional paid subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

7.1 Free Trial

Certain subscription plans may include a free trial period. You will not be charged during the free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the listed price.

7.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Google Play. Payment will be charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase or at the end of any free trial period.

7.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

7.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

7.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply from the next billing cycle.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAB GAMES PVT. LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DAB Games Pvt. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
