Mamedyarov has played every league season, for a different team each time: the Chingari Gulf Titans in 2023, the PBG Alaskan Knights in 2024 and the upGrad Mumba Masters in 2025. He stays with the franchise for 2026 as a men's Superstar of the CheQ Mumba Masters.

Global Chess League record

In 2023 the Chingari Gulf Titans finished fifth in Dubai. In 2024 the PBG Alaskan Knights topped the league stage in London and lost the final to the Triveni Continental Kings; Mamedyarov won one of his two games in the final.

In 2025 the upGrad Mumba Masters finished fifth in Mumbai.
