Season 4 of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League is played at The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru, with opening day on 3 September, match play from 5 to 12 September and the final on 13 September. Where to buy
BookMyShow is the official ticketing agency for Season 4, and the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League listing is where every ticket is sold. Sales opened on 19 August 2026. Tickets are per match day, so pick the day first — the schedule and live points table show what is at stake on each one.
Ticket prices
Early Bird entry starts at Rs 349 and covers one match plus the Festival Arena. The Premium ticket at Rs 2,999 covers every match played that day — four matches on days one to six, three on days seven and eight — plus the Festival Arena and the Premium Lounge. The Festival Arena is the fan area outside the playing hall, with live screenings, commentary, food and fan activities, and it has been first come, first served in previous seasons.
Match days and timings
On days one to six, matches start at 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM IST. Days seven and eight have three matches, at 5:00 PM, 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM. A single-match ticket covers one of these slots; the Premium ticket covers the whole day. Every fixture, in order:

Play is at The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru. It is the league's first season in the city, after Dubai in 2023, London in 2024 and Mumbai in 2025, and the league's opening day in Bengaluru is 3 September, two days before the first match. The playing hall and the Festival Arena are both at the venue, so a match ticket puts you in the same building as all six squads — the teams page covers who plays for whom, and the players page lists all 36 players by board.
Watching from outside Bengaluru
Every match streams free on the Global Chess League YouTube channel, the Chess24 YouTube and Twitch channels and Chess.com India, with Tania Sachdev, Sagar Shah, Sahaj Grover, Harshit Raja and Irina Krush on commentary. In Mumbai, The Chess Nexus hosts a ticketed live screening of the final on Sunday 13 September, from Rs 599 on BookMyShow — a screening only, not the final itself, which is played in Bengaluru.
